Challenges faced Diamond packaging methods:
1.A jewelry industry in Hong Kong has been using manual weighing of diamonds, printing labels, manual labeling, packaging, with complex processes that are prone to errors and loss.
2.Jewelry and diamond products have high value, small size, and diverse forms. They have strict requirements for packaging, including protection (collision prevention, wear prevention, moisture resistance, etc.), accurate measurement (single or by weight packaging), information traceability (related to diamond traceability information, product parameter specifications), and beautiful display (suitable for high-end jewelry positioning). Manual packaging is prone to errors, low efficiency, and difficult to ensure consistency.
3.A few years ago, it was decided to use a fully automated production line to avoid the above problems.

1.DT-A8-2TR machine was selected to meet the needs of Zhou Moufu's diamond bagging and labeling. This device occupies only 22 x 19 inches and is very suitable for the environment of jewelry processing workshops. Its operating speed is as high as 25 bags per minute, which can meet the efficiency requirements of medium-sized diamond packaging.
2.Built-in printing system, utilizing first bag printing technology. After automatic inspection, the robotic arm places the diamonds to be packaged on a precision weighing instrument to obtain key information such as diamond weight, color, clarity level, and certificate number. The system sends this information to the printer to accurately print it on the packaging bag. At the same time, the robotic arm puts the diamonds to be packaged into the packaging machine for sealing and packaging. After completion, the conveyor belt transfers the products to the next workstation.
3.No manual involvement is required throughout the process, greatly reducing various problems caused by manual involvement such as diamond loss.
